Steamed Noodles in Eggplant Meat Sauce (serves 2) 洋蔥茄子肉醬拌麵 (2位份)

To PDFIngredients¼ onion (chopped), 1 tomato (chopped), 2 cloves garlic (grated), 200 g ground beef, ½ eggplant (julienned), 2 packs Japanese Yakisoba noodles, ½ tsp mixed herbs, 2 tbsp balsamic vinegar

Preparation1) Mix onion, tomato, garlic, herbs, beef and balsamic vinegar in a bowl. Steam in Miele puresteam at 90°C for 90 minutes. Stir and add seasoning.

2) Steam eggplant at 100°C for 20 minutes until soft.

3) Rinse and drain noodles. Put in a serving dish. Top with eggplant and the meat sauce. Steam in Miele puresteam at 100°C for 8 minutes. Serve.

1) 洋蔥、蕃茄、蒜蓉、香草碎、免治牛肉及陳醋拌勻,放Miele蒸爐以90℃蒸90分鐘,拌勻。加入調味料待用。

2) 茄子放Miele蒸爐以100℃蒸20分鐘待用。

3) 炒麵以清水沖淨,瀝乾,鋪上茄子跟肉醬,放Miele蒸爐以100℃蒸8分鐘。

Tips1) For flavourful and tender eggplant, steam at 100°C for 20 minutes. Add seasoning and mix well. Steam for a few more minutes.

2) Cooking noodles with Miele puresteam is easy breezy. You don’t need to keep an eye on it and it won’t boil over. For cooked noodles, you just need to steam them to heat through while retaining the lovely chew. To cook dry noodles, add enough boiling water to cover. Then steam according to the cooking time specified on the package.
