PreparationCut off the top of the coconut. Save the shell for later use. Set aside the coconut water. To half of the coconut water, stir in milk, bird’s nest and rock sugar. Pour the mixture back into the coconut shell. Steam in Miele puresteam at 90°C for 30 minutes. Serve.


TipsRoll a piece damp cloth around the base of the coconut to make it sit snugly. Alternatively, you may pour the ingredients into a steaming bowl instead of serving in the coconut. You may steam up to 10 servings at one time if you put them on two separate shelves in the steam oven.
